Coreflute

Coreflute (Corrugated plastic) is a twin-wall polypropylene sheet, known for its light weight, impact resistance, and weather durability. It’s made by extruding polypropylene resin into a fluted sheet with two flat outer layers and a ribbed inner core, similar in structure to cardboard. This fluted construction adds rigidity without adding significant weight, making it ideal for both indoor and outdoor use. The plastic itself is chemically inert, waterproof, and UV-stabilised in outdoor-grade variants.

Coreflute is easy to cut, fold, glue, print on, and mount, making it a versatile material for signs, displays, packaging inserts, and temporary barriers. The internal flutes can even be used as a channel for wires or stakes—useful for signage or garden applications.

Our workshop can cut coreflute to your exact dimensions and shapes using CNC routers, or oscillating knives depending on your requirements. We can also score, and crease sheets as part of packaging design or 3D displays.

If coreflute isn’t quite right for your project—say you need something stronger, clearer, or stiffer—we’ve got a range of other plastic and composite materials that might suit you better. Check out our Materials A-Z or ask and we’ll point you in the right direction.
